I hope everyone got out and voted today. I consider it a privilege to be able to vote and have a say in our democratic system. I don’t care the way you voted that is between you and your conscience. All I care about is that you voted. If you did vote you can complain about the government, if you didn’t vote please keep your mouth shut because you decided that you didn’t want a say in how our government is run. With that said Gary and I went and we both voted. They let me go with him to read the ballot to him and make sure he didn’t have any trouble pressing the buttons he wanted. At first he had me read it to him and wanted me to press the buttons, then after a few times of him watching what I did he took over and pressed the buttons he wanted. It was wonderful to see him doing something so normal. He knew exactly who he wanted to vote for and knew how he wanted to vote on the issues. I had looked up the issues on the internet prior to election day and we had discussed what each one was about before going to vote, so he already knew how he wanted to vote. What’s funny is I received the absentee ballot and I asked him if he wanted to vote like that and he told me “NO” he wanted to go the our polling place and vote on election day. So if Gary could get out and vote then so can anyone else, there is no excuse not to vote.
Speaking of election day I now want to approach a subject that surprised my when I heard about it. I have read the “Left Behind” series of books, yes all 12, and I must say I enjoyed them very much, but what surprised me was the number of people who have compared Obama with the Antichrist. My son, Cameron, also told me that they are saying Obama is the 3rd Antichrist Nostradamus has predicted. Now I’m not saying I voted for Obama, honestly there is too much about him that can’t be swept under the carpet that I question, but I’m also not going to predict him to be the Antichrist, but then again he could be, nobody but God knows when this time begins. With that said I do want to talk about the “Left Behind” series of books. I am a Christian and I must admit that I have trouble understanding the bible, it’s dull to me, but I keep reading. I have read Revelation a few times and did not understand it. What this series of books did for me was to make the book of Revelation more understandable, and yes I realize that other people may translate the book of Revelations differently than the authors of this series, but from what I did understand they sounded as close as anyone could without actually going through it. Just a side note, I use to write in my bible, but now I’m using Gary’s bible and I’m writing in it. So if we disappear in the rapture (which I feel we will) please feel free to come get our bibles and use them to help you to understand. Also, feel free to read the “Left Behind” series of books I have in our Den to give you some clues as to what to expect in the coming years. What I really took away from it is that I want to make sure I go in the rapture and don’t have to go through the Tribulation. Please read this series of books if you want some kind of idea of what the end days may be like.
I know that people are wondering if we’re seeing any changes from Gary’s stem cells yet. Unfortunately we’re still not seeing changes at this point in time. His tone and spastisity are just as bad as ever. Thankfully we have been very busy and time seems to be going much faster this time around than it did the first time. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 2 months since he got his second set of stem cells.
