Want too see a happy Daddy and his beautiful little girl on her wedding day? Lindsey got her pictures from the wedding and she e-mailed me copies of her with her Dad and I just wanted to cry because they look so great together.
One of the things I have found out is Gary can’t cry. He has told me there are times when he wants to but he can’t, and Lindsey’s wedding was one of those times. He told me he was so happy for her and how pretty she was that he wanted to cry, but he couldn’t. I have gotten so I can tell by the look in his eye’s when he feels like crying. Next time we go to see Dr. Mysiw I will need to ask him why Gary isn’t able to cry, but for now enjoy the pictures.
As many of you know I have had van trouble with our new van. The lift broke and it has taken many months to get it fixed. The lift company was redesigning the lift I had bought because they had to recall them because of issues with the lift. At first I was told I would have wait until the middle of August to get my new lift. Then when I called and asked about the lift I was told it was going to be the first of October. At that time when I called to inquire about the lift I was told it was going to be the middle of March. I couldn’t believe it. So Ricon (the lift company) sent a different lift to put in our van. It is a less expensive lift and I haven’t seen any of my money from the difference in price and to top it off I hate this new lift. I hate my new van because I have had so many problems with it since I got it. On top of the lift I’ve had to have the air-conditioner recharged and it hadn’t even been used and I’ve had to have the brakes replaced because the rotors went bad and it only a little over 1,000 miles on it, which I didn’t even put most of those miles on it. They came from when we first got the van and I looked it over the van conversion company had missed some things and we had to sent it back to them and they drove the van they didn’t haul it because it’s so big. So on top of having to send it back for all the problems now I’m stuck with a lift that I didn’t want, and I hate, and I’m out money. I’m Columbus Mobility, the handicapped conversion company, told me they’re trying to get money back from Ricon, but I still haven’t heard anything. I’m trying to figure out what to do next. I’m afraid to sell my old van that I bought pretty inexpensively and leaks, but I haven’t had any problems with the way the van runs or the lift, and I must have a working van in order to get Gary around. Without a van Gary doesn’t go anywhere. We didn’t even have our new van 6 months before we started having problems with it so I don’t have a lot of confidence in it. My thoughts are, what’s going to happen next.
About the stem cells, I’m sorry to say that we’re not seeing any improvements yet, but we’re still in the early stages.
Please continue with your prayers and good thoughts.
